Grab a camera, get outdoors and start photographing WA’s biodiversity – it could be as simple as some spring wildflowers or a neighbourhood magpie! Include a short caption with your photo and submit it all online.

It’s easy to enter!

• DISCOVER: Find out about WA’s unique species, the threats they face and how people can help.
• PLAY: Grab a camera and spend some time developing your photography skills.
• EXPLORE: Get outside and capture the diversity of our state’s plants, animals and landscapes.
• SHARE: Compose a captivating caption that highlights the biodiversity story of your favourite photo.

Next week is our annual Faction Athletics Carnival.

Tuesday 14 September Years 1 - 6  400m, 800m, Jumps and Throws

Selected students will be taking part in the Jumps and Throws.  All students are invited to nominate to participate in the 400m (Years 1 - 4) and 800m (Years 5 - 6).

Thursday 16 September All students from Kindy - Year 6 will participate in the Faction Carnival

In the event of inclement weather, a decision to postpone will be made the day prior and communicated to parents.

Details are attached which includes the timetables for both days and map of events.  Families are asked to please take note of additional information and directions for the day.

Hard copies will be sent home with students.

The P&C will be holding a sausage sizzle on the Thursday and other food and drinks will be available.
